Thumbs up New to us travel trailer in Las Vegas

Hello I'm Joe. After some cold and then even colder & rainy trips tent camping with our two young boys my wife and I decided to purchase a travel trailer. If you ask my wife I'm frugal and was a little hesitant to invest so much into a camper but we decided there's no time like the present to begin making warm camping memories with our boys so we bit the bullet and purchased a 2014 29' Nomad Joey made by Skyline. We didn't set out looking for any one brand of trailer but I knew having a 1/2 ton truck would limit our selection. When we first saw the Nomad and found it was within our practical towing capacity we knew it was the one (including the boys because it had "bunk beds").

In the past my main use for forums has been to learn about and modify my trucks, I hope I can transfer some of that knowledge over to making our TT more user friendly.

I've learned a lot in the couple months I've been browsing the forum (mostly make sure to watch the caulking and in the end just get some eternabond) I hope to be able to contribute good information as I get up to speed with this industry as well.
