New user AZ

Thanks for being invited to join. We have a new 08 Class A, Winnebago Adventurer Limited 37' which we purchased the end of June. We had a class C for three years previous. Went to the mountains in Colorado then Virginia, upstate New York, Vermont and points between there and Arizona. One more year of teaching then retirement. Retired US Army Master SGT with 24 years service. Been teaching 15 years. It's good to see all the enthusiasm for RVing. Looking forward to seeing you on the road. Oldcrowlarry

Hey, oldcrowlarry: WELCOME aboard. So....where in AZ do you reside?? We spend quite a bit of our fulltiming life hanging around AZ, although we're presently down in Key West, FL. We'll be heading AZ way at the end of January....we sure kinda miss it. Again, WELCOME. Steve & Lynette

We live in Glendale about 5 miles from the Cardinals Stadium. Thanks for the comeback. Larry

oldcrowlarry, I will be in your neighborhood in late february for about 3 nights. I have all my annual service done at Massey's Diesel on 98th Ave near Buckeye road. Have not made reservations yet but usually stay out by the old Dog Track.
Chicadee, where do you usually spend time in Arizona? I will be in Yuma from 10 Feb. until 24 and then Phoenix area for 3 nights. If you are around we might get together and talk about your SF trip.

Ronnie:

Sorry for delay...we were on the road yesterday (Wed. 11/4) heading up here to Tampa where we'll be through Jan. 2010.

Re: where we hang out in AZ....really no specific area although having friends at the Escapee park in Benson (E. of Tucson) & Green Valley, we often spend a little time around there, but, really all over AZ..(ie., Casa Grande, Surprise (Phoenix), Yuma, Parker (on the river), Havasu, Williams/Flagstaff, Camp Verde, etc.). We'll likely get over to AZ in late Feb./early March and haven't decided where yet, but it sure would be fun meeting up with you folks somewhere.

Come spring, we kinda gravitate N. toward the Black Hills and then to a BIG annual family rendevous on the Missouri River near Platte, SD, but, this year, friends full timing in a 5er, have talked about wanting to visit San Francisco together so we might drift over there from AZ.

We'll stay in touch with you and hopefully get together somtime.

Steve & Lynette

We may have to have a "Mini-iRV2 Rally" while you are all up near "the City by the Bay"...
...and "OCL" ..thanks for letting me know where your name comes from! You should try to get over to QZ after retirement next year..It is a blast..and Winnebago has their own group there too!
