New Winnebago Micro Mini Winnie owner

Bought last Friday a 2016 Winnebago Micro Mini Winnie model 2106FBS color is platinum. We camped 3 days last week. This will be used as a couples trailer. It is small but seems well detailed out for a smaller trailer.

One question I have is we have a battery for dry camping & automatic jack. When I am not using the trailer I take the battery out. Do I need to put it on a Battery Trickle charger? What brand do you recommend ?

Welcome to irv2.com! I can't help you with the battery question but please post some pics of your new rig.

Glad to have you here with us.

If you are using the RV on a regular basis, there is no need to take it out. Unless your worried about it getting stolen. There are quite a few chargers out there just make sure it is an automatic to avoid overcharging. Sears, Home depot, Lowes, or any good auto supply store will help you.

Best of luck and Happy Trails!!

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the new camper. I hope you are as happy with your Winnebago as we are with ours.

If you only disconnect or remove the battery for a few weeks at a time, you don't need to use a trickle or battery charger. For longer periods, the battery will lose it's charge. I use a Battery Tender, which I also use with my Tundra when it is sitting for extended periods during the winter.Amazon.com: Deltran Battery Tender (021-0128) 1.25 Amp Battery Charger: Automotive

I also have a regular battery charger which can be used for starting a vehicle when the battery is dead, or for charging a battery faster than you can with the Battery Tender. But if you remove the battery and hook it up to the Battery Tender, you'll never have to worry about.

There is also the option of solar panels which others may be able to tell you about.
