I am not a recreational rv guy but I do spend lots of time in one. I have a job that requires me to travel. The good news is the location of my job only moves every two or three months. This situation makes for a perfect setup to stay in a rv while I am working. I recently purchased a 27.5 Terry Fleetwood at bargain because it was in need of repair. When I got it home and got started, it turned out to be a great deal of repair. I am now neck deep in a fully custom fifth wheel.

Don't worry, lots of here have got caught up in "major repairs" that were supposed to be minor. At least you get the satisfaction of fixing it yourself, I hope. Besides, it is now customized for you.

I have done a complete roof, including new wood, and new side wood on an rv. A lot more than planned, but that is the way it goes.

Again, welcome to the forums!
