Newbe from Maine
Hello everyone, just joined within the hr. and checking in with first post.
My wife and I bought a used RV in 1988 and a few years ago purchased our 3rd unit a new 2007 National Seabreeze LX . In the summer we sail off the Maine coast and do most of our RVing points south in the winter months. However in 2010 I was elected a State Senator which has interferred with our R&R in warmer climate. It will be up to the voters as to when we will be able to cruise south again. I was actually looking for some information on a replacement window for the coach when I came upon the irv2 webside. Looking forward to making new friends, sharing information and RVing experiences.
Take care,
Rod & Coralee

Welcome to the Forum!! Some of the nicest people with the most valuable information concerning the RV lifestyle are frequent visitors to the forum. We are originally from Maine (Bangor) , but have been moved from the state for more than 20 years. We have had the opportunity to full-time RV for more than 4 years, but then decided to go back to work and moved to take a position here in KY. We visit Maine during the summer months, since we both like to escape the heat here in KY. We recently sold our 5th wheel and purchased a 38' Challenger motor home. We often visit Alabama in March and October (breaks at the university), and Florida during the Christmas break. As soon as my wife retires in a couple of years, I'm certain that we will be back to full-timing again. We will more than likely move up to a larger coach at this time.
Again, welcome to the Forum and stay warm up their in God's country!!

Hi Rod & Coralee! Welcome to IRV2! You got here just in time! We had openings for two more yankees and you just barely made it! Seriously, we're really glad you joined the bunch here. Lots of good folks, good moderators who are fair and respectful, and tons of available information! Have fun and God bless!

Welcome! You'll love the forum
I enjoyed my 4 years up, where the sign in Millenocket read, "End of the World - 145 mi. Loring AFB - 150 mi."
We joked, but really liked it. Lots of time across the border, with Canadian friends, in Grand Falls, too. Active in Civil Air Patrol, Canadian Air Cadet League, flew all over the state during those years. Now, family is looking to have a vacation house near Bar Harbor!

Welcome. Don't forget to check out the Northeasters Wicked Good Rally coming up in June. There is an informational thread under the Northeasters forum.
Come back and post often.

Where abouts in Maine are you? I'm in Old Orchard Beach...if you are local than you've probably seen me around, my metalic neon lime green motorhome is kind of hard to miss
