Our first step in beginning a snowbirder lifestyle was joining this group. lol. We bought this 2003, 34' Nuwa, Snowbird back in 2005 just to live in while parked full time on a work contract for two years. It was super comfortable with lots of room. Its been in storage for the last three years, but we are getting ready to dust it off and get on the road soon. First we need to buy a Tow Vehicle for this monster. Any simple advice would be greatly appreciated. Seems no matter how much I research, I can't determine the best TV for this 5th Wheel.

Hi Traveler -

Welcome to IRV2 forum.

Since you are in San Antonio, you might be interested in taking a look at the Texas Boomers group on this forum. A bunch of us will be in Boerne next week for our 10th year anniversary. We are taking over Fiesta Texas RV park up there. I think the park's sold out, but if you want to swing buy and meet a bunch of folks from all over Texas who like RV'ing, we'll be there.

Welcome aboard. Yes, be sure and drop in on the Texas Boomers at out 1oth Anniversary Rally.

As for the truck, a trailer like in your profile is not a light weight and has a pretty high pin weight. So, you need to be looking a 1 ton duallies as a minimum. A 3/4 ton or SRW just won't handle the pin weight within ratings.

Got any questions, just ask.

Ken
