Newbie
Hello everyone, Susan from AK here...trying to learn as much info as I can before diving into the deep end of the pool & buying a TT. I currently have an 07 Yukon Denali XL that I hope to use as my TV, & need to do some more investigation to see what it can safely tow. Anyone with any info on towing with the Yukon is welcome to give me some feedback....I am new to towing, TT's & this group! Thanks for the opportunity to learn

Welcome to the group. Getting your tow vehicle matched up with the right travel trailer will have to start with the hand book you have in your glove compartment. You will have to know what the weight limits are for your truck. then you can go out and look for the trailer. Bear in mind, the trailer you buy will be a lot lighter at the sales lot than it will be in the camp ground. Some how they tend to gain weight. You will find that they don't come completely equipped with what you really want in it . We had our wants and needs confused and had to put our trailer on a diet. and get rid of a lot of what we didn't really NEED. Good hunting, and Safe travels. Oh and welcome to the group.

Welcome. Not from experience but when I was looking at TT everyone said a dually for sure any thing over 34 ft. The dually is more stable in mtns and braking.
