Hello im new here and im hoping for a lot of info. Im a retired auto/truck mechanic,ASE master in light auto medium and heavy many times over ,i think i recertified 3-4 times. Also Dodge master tech certified in the 5.9 L in Dodge trucks. So i understand the rigs just dont know about RV ing.I just retired and bought a 1994 Holiday Rambler Imperial 36' after many many hours of debate. My rig was stored inside its whole life. The owners i bought it from are related to the original owners, i consider myself second owner.It has brand new Goodyears all around and it just had a complete going through because they just went to NY.The rig has 77000 mi and you can eat off the engine.It has the 8.3 cummins. This one met all of my criteria except no slide,paid 17000 cash so im happy.Can anyone tell me what im in for with reguards to reliability and what i might expect to encounter in the future. The roof just had new Dicor on it.It has a leather head liner that is sagging and i want it replaced does it come out?Anything else would be greatly appreciative,thanks and i hope to get to know some of you because im going full time to see all of america.Disabled veteran I LOVE THIS COUNTRY, and i want to see it all.Im very shocked at the cost of repairs,please tell me the BEST insurance for traveling because if i had to pay these bills you all talk about i would sell it.Thanks for any info,by the way i can still do some repairs.Thanks
