Been there, just the opposite of New England in Winter, lots of heat, humidity and mosquitoes. Other problem with New England especially CT is it is so expensive to live, not geared to retirees or low income folks. Think of having a small house 1500sqft and paying $4,400.00 per year in property tax, having an 06 View and paying $2,300 in property taxes, plus income tax, sales tax and tax on everything you could imagine. Also think about the highest electric rates in the continental USA (really high) the highest natural gas rates, and best of all the highest gasoline and diesel rates except for Alaska in the continental USA. Glad I don't drink or smoke, alcohol taxes just went up 20% and cigarettes are now between $8.50 and $10.50 per pack. Due to exorbitant state fee's campground fee's are making it difficult for our Winnebago group to find reasonably priced campgrounds for our affairs. We quite often go out of state.
Not complaining, just stating the facts and planning to get out of here in a couple of years.
Thanks All..........
