Question Newbie buying a TT need suggestions

Hi we have a Ford Transit 250 diesel van, can tow GVWR 7500. Looking at a new 2016 Pacific Coachworks Northland 25RKS 29 ft., a used 2014 Pacific Coachworks Panther 24RBS and a used 2013 Jayco White Hawk 26DSRB. They are all GVWR 7500, and the lengths are 28 to 30 ft, tongue weight is 550 lbs. What is the most important things to take under consideration? The dry weight, the length, or? Any input on the brands? Any info will be appreciated for us newbies. We don't want to depend on the salespeople for info (if you know what we mean). Thanks.

Glad you joined.

The only way you will know which one is right for you is to sit in it for a while and try to imagine yourself in it. Will it accommodate your RVing desires? How many people will be in it? Will they fit comfortably?

As Bruce suggested search the forums at the top for more input.

Good luck with your search and Happy Trails!!!

Welcome to the forum.

Under "Owner's Forum" you will find answers to the brands and under "RV Forums" you will find TT and towing info. Search old threads or ask questions there for a more refined answer.

This is a great forum for info. YouTube is also a great info for "how to" videos for when you do get your rig. The biggest thing most feel is the floorplan. Does it work for you, is there enough storage, and like Tony said, will it fit your needs.

We bought used. There is a big loss of value when you buy new. Depreciation you know. Since this is your first (and probably will not be your last) think about the used units.

Either way have a great time, summer is approaching. Lynne
