Newbie checkin in..about to be full timin it!!

Hi All!!
Awesome board.. I've been lurking a few months but purchase time is getting closer.

Completely new to driving RV's and since I'll be solo and full timing it I'm trying to decide betreen a B+ which would be easier to drive for a newbie; or a smaller A for live ability once I'm stationary. My research has me leaning towards a mid 2000 Winnie V10 450 chassis; but the room of an A looks good too. Need to find a rig with heated tanks or plan to spend $$ to withstand sub zero temps in MN if necessary.

I'll be working another 4-5 yrs on the road at power plant outages before retirement age gets me so the maintenance of a V10 450 chassis seems like it would be cheaper in the near term.

Currently in Florida where I hope to purchase my new home before I hit the road for the fall outages. Again great forum, lots of great info, lookin forward to cuttin the cord & appreciate all the great opinions!

Hi and

I started with a Class C and quickly upgraded to a Class A for comfort and space.

I bet our paths cross somewhere, my company (Acuren) provides a lot of the NDE/NDT inspections services for power plant outages.

Have often thought that back when I was still a tech on the road I should have bought a Class A and used all of the per diem money to pay for it. 20/20 hindsight.

Welcome. We love our A so my vote is with that. Hope your working days go fast and you'll be on the road in retirement. Happy travels.
