Hello everyone!
My wife and I (and our three dogs) just picked up our first RV a month or so ago.

We got a 2009 Four Winds Majestic 23A (was a Cruise America rental). It's nothing fancy, but it was inexpensive and meets our needs. We've already done a bunch of upgrades (after a thorough cleaning).

Our first trip was just for the weekend at a park near home...just in case. That helped us figure out what we need to take with us on the road. Our second trip, we went to the Delaware Seashore State Park (nice place, BTW, we'll probably be back).

Let's see...what else? I'm an aerospace engineer/systems engineer/test engineer/Extra class ham (N4CA)/beginner software developer/mechanic/handyman/tinkerer.

Also, I'm on another RV forum, but I like the format of this one better (especially that it supports Tapatalk). This one also seems to be bigger/more active.

BTW, the wife and I are already talking about upgrading to a Class A, but that'll be a few years from now. Plenty of time to learn and research different models before we start shopping.

Personally, I say sell the house, buy a Class A and a piece of land and build a RV port home on it. Something like this:

or this:
