Wink Newbie from Colorado

A big hello from Colorado. We aren't new to camping but are new to RV's. We tent camped when the kids were growing up but now they are gone and we "stumbled" into a 5ver and fell in love. As a kid my dad and I would spend 3 months a year in the winter in a 16 ft Cardinal TT going up and down the coast of California. Back then we didn't even have a bathroom!

We bought our 2011 Grand Junction the end of May, traded my F150 for a Dodge diesel 250 already equipped with a B & W Gooseneck. We found the Companion 5th Wheel Hitch and just got that put on last week. Now we are ready to practice. We scared to death. But we are plugging forward and hope to go full time when DH retires in 3-4 years. That should give us enough practice. Sure hope the real estate market improves by then so we can sell the S & B. Meantime we are joining the ranks. We will be hanging around in the background.

See ya on the road, we hope.

Cindy and Mike

Welcome, y'all.. I thought Grand Junction's were specifically for folks that lived a bit west of you.. Don't they make a Denver? Bad, I know. Your pattern kinda follows mine.. cept we had a few other means of camping before the better rigs. Enjoy and participate often.. this is a good place.

Not sure about a Denver, did see a Colorado TT the other day. It was new to the driver as they still had their temp tag on it. We liked the full walk in cedar lined closet in the bedroom, along with 2 dressers. Our first real trip looks to be back to dealer for Norcold recall repairs on the 17th of Sept. LOL
