Newbie from Dallas

My wife and I are new to the message board. We have a 2006 Southwind 32VS and are currently learning the ins and outs of RVing! Due to work and school most of our trips will be weekend type trips within 200 miles of the DFW area. In the fall I plan on branching out and taking it to a college football game or two. (U of Alabama & Texas A&M)

I look forward to gaining lots of knowledge on the board and above all, learning good places to visit....

We're glad to have you here.

My FIL used to live in Dallas. Every other year we'd visit, I'd get me a new pair of boots from shops near the Ft. Worth stockyards. I've got some really unique boots from there in my collection.

Tailgating is so much more fun with an RV. You'll have a blast. Post often of your travels.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

Welcome to the Fourm from another Dallas resident. We mostly camp in State and Corp of Engineers (COE) parks within 150 miles of the DFW area. Glad you joined us. Again WELCOME.
