Newbie from Illinois (St. Louis metro)

Hi! I've been retired almost 3 years. I've been interested in RVing. No, I currently do not own an RV. The RV show is coming to St. Louis in January. I'll start there. There are so many interesting websites, books, videos, blogs, etc. to learn from! I'm seriously considering selling my 2 bedroom condo, taking what profit I have, buying an RV and becoming a fulltimer! First, I'll have to unload the 27 year old daughter living with me...... I have 2 cats that will travel with me. I want to travel while I can; meet new people; be a campworker; etc. I really like this website!

It's the best site for RV info on the web. Ask a lot of questions, do a lot of research and find a floor plan that says "here i am -lets travel"

WELCOME along! We sold our home and ALL the stuff and hit the road full time in late 05 and it's been a WONDERFUL. You sound like you'd enjoy it too! We slowly bounce around the country, N to S, E to W, even been up to Alaska (FABULOUS!!)

Take your time when ya go to the St. Louis show in January, and don't jump at the first rigs ya see. Be sure to ask questions here in iRV2 and elsewhere and you'll slowly begin to get a picture of what would be best for you. You're gonna LOVE IT!! AND....remember, HAVE FUN!! Steve & Lynette

Thanks for the warm greeting and great advice! When I attend the RV show in January, I plan to have lots of time, ask questions, and take notes.
