Newbie from Missouri

Hi there,

We just brought home our first RV! We bought a 2008 Damon Challenger and drove her from South to Carolina Missouri. It poured the whole way, so hubby drove it all. He did an excellent ob since this is a first for both of us.

Nice to meet all of you and I am off to post a question in the correct forum.

I hope everyone has wonderful tomorrow.

Marietta Walker

Rain stopped

Howdy,

We are just down the road from you, 45-60 minutes give or take, depending on where you are in KC. (Go Royals!) It rained here before dawn and then we were dry all day. Good thing too, because we need to get some gravel in. We need to park the RV on a bit more solid ground!

Thanks for welcoming us to the group.

Glad to meet all of you

Thanks for the welcomes and well-wishes.

Yesterday, I installed a new back-splash. Unfortunately I twisted my knee in the process and have been ordered (by husband) to sit down. In fairness. it is swollen, a lot, so I really do need to let it rest. But, there is sooooo much I want to get done!

Our next task is to downsize the platform in the bedroom and put in a queen mattress instead of that big old King. We are also installing new faucets and removing the dining table to install a sewing center for me. One of the sofas in the living room will be replaced with a recliner, in order to make room for our parrot children. We have already taken out the CRT TV up front and will redo that area a bit with an LCD TV. Much to do.

Again, much thanks to everyone, and you can bet I will have questions to post too. So I will see all of you in the forums!

Warm regards
Marietta from MO
