Newbie from South Carolina's Low Country

Good day RVers,

We're jumping from a popup pulled by an Jeep Liberty to a 5er pulled by a Chevy Silverado 2500. Popup sold, Jeep traded for the Chevy and the DW has a Keystone Cougar 333MKS picked out.

I joined a different RV forum several months ago just to be disappointed as to its, er content.

I tend to lurk and search as I do not consider myself an expert in anything related to RVs. Except maybe having fun!

Hi Bruce! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Congrats on the new rig! Keep her between the ditches!

The majority of folks on here don't consider ourselves "RV experts", but hope that sometimes the mistakes we have learned from will help others! Your input is always welcome!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Greetings and welcome to the forum, I'm new too.
My family and I will be heading to SC for our first trip in our new for us "vintage" motorhome.
My wife is from the midlands (originally from the upstate) and we'll be visiting her family there, then hopefully getting to one of the many fine beaches there.
We tent camped in Edisto a few years back and even got a picture of our campsite on the Edisto Beach Scenic Byways website.
If you click the link, we're the ones on the left side.
Map Edisto Island,National Scenic Byway, ACE Basin, Preservation, South Carolina, SC

My wife found it when she was searching google images "Edisto Beach", she said "there's us with the Avalon", I said "Wow, we're famous"
Anyhow, good luck with you new setup and safe travels!
