As for the sale of the RV, you might consider starting marketing it online soon and looking for a buyer that will accept delivery at the end of your time here in the states. That will help determine the final destination as you plan out the final days to coincide with the potential buyer's location.

There are pitfalls to that approach, but it is an idea.

Safe travels.
Yes, will also do that. Was considering craigslist, but they seem only to allow an add to be posted in one single county. If you try to post the same add in a different county you will get duplicate error message.

What good alternatives are there that go more or less nation wide - or at least the west?

There is a poster in the Canada Forum that is going to be travelling across Canada East to West then going back through the states. They start back after you finish and were going to rent. Maybe you guys can strike a deal?

RVTrader.com

Klaus,
I have not tried to sell an RV, so have little first had experience. There is a series of publications that have been around for many years, starting with Auto Trader. There is now a Plane Trader, Boat Trader, RV Trader, etc.

They are now online, so you can check out RVtrader.com. I have no first had experience with them, but perhaps someone who has will speak up.

You might also try the websites of such RVing associations as FMCA and Good Sam's.

Bill
