Greetings!

I have been lurking on here for a couple of months now. I am in the Army at Fort Hood and I am deployed right now. I am looking to buy a 5er when I get back in a couple months. I am looking at the Palamino Sabres, Dutchmen Denalis and K-Zs mostly now. If anyone has any experience on these I would welcome the comments. I am moving to Alaska next year so I definitely need something durable and does well in cold weather. This is a great forum with a lot of good knowledge and I am enjoying it so far!

Hello Chiefw, nice to see one more out of Texas. I always loved the 5th wheel (friend in Fort Bliss had a BIG one), but got hooked on Class A.
Newmar has a great line of 5th wheelers.

From the list you provided, I would pass on them all fro a cold weather camper. You need to move up to New Horizon, Mobile Suites, Carriage, Hitch Hiker or NuWa.

Thank you for serving.

For all you do, this Bud's for you! Wish I could share it with you.

Welcome to IRV2, my favorite RV forum. Lurk no more, join in the discussions, and as your RV research moves forward, someone here will no doubt be able to help with any questions.

Stay safe, hope to see you in some friendly campground in the future.

Happy trails...
