Howdy howdy ! Looks like a great Community of RVers here. I have a 25' Coachman Freedom Express , 2008, which works out real find for just me RVing. Ive been on one long trip to Texas already, and, this coming winter im taking a long RV trip around the entire coast of Florida starting at Pensacola and ending at St. Augustine on the other side. Ill hit the Keys too. I plan to take up to 2 months doing it so ill be going nice and slow. Florida is great during the winter time, but a challenge in the summer.

Happy Trails !

David.

Welcome to iRV2!. Check out the Florida Cooters camping group on the forum. We meet mostly in the central part of the state but we may have something going on while you're on your trip.

Be sure to check ahead during the winter season as campgrounds tend to be filled up with snowbirds, especially south Florida and the Keys.

Hi David and welcome aboard. We are Floridians too - live east of Ocala out in the Ocala National Forest. We usually take the coach and escape for the summer months, but had to stay near home this summer for personal reasons. Phew - we had forgotten just how oppressive the humidity can be!

Ok Gary, thanks for the info and tip. I usually stay at State Parks and State Forests when i RV any distance; Florida has some of the nicest ones ive ever been to . First class . Im also big on staying at CrackerBarrels since I like their food, its free to stay there, well lit / video'd Parking Lots, usually patroled by local police, and convenient by the main road.
