Welcome. My wife and are older newbies, and are on second year. We are from upstate NY as well, Catskill and Windham. If it had not been for this web site and all the help, I would have given up the first year. Now full time in Southwest Florida.

Hi,

We had a 30' 1993 Gulfstream Innsbruck TT. We dragged that thing all over the country, we loved it. We had it for about ten years then traded it for a toy-hauler TT. One of the best things I did with the Gulfstream was to have the unit raised to above the axles. This gave us much more ground clearance ...plus I liked how it pulled like that.

We had the rear bunks and bathroom and a front bedroom. I have nothing but good things to say about that trailer and thus Gulfstream. Like any vehicle it needs to be maintained. I hope your unit brings you as much fun and enjoyment ours brought us.

BTW: We lived in Saratoga Springs/Ballston Spa for a few years in a past life when I was in the service. Upstate NY is one of the most beautiful places I've ever had the privledge to live.

Hi Northerngirl. My wife and I are from Rome and still have family there. Boonville is near and dear to me - my uncle was the town clerk in the 30's & 40's and he & my aunt lived just outside of town. I used to spend a few weeks there each summer. They had a large house and several lumberjacks made their off-season home with them. The Hubbard House looms large in my memories and we stop in whenever we are in the area.
