Newbie here

Hi every one took the plunge and traded for a 98 holiday 34dws pusher. live up in the frozen tundra of green bay drove it home from upper mi on wed, 4 degrees this morning ready for first road trip.

Welcome to the forum. Don't mean to rain on your parade but couple of quick items for you. First if you have not done so already, check the date code in the tires. If 7 years or more old replace them now because that us the lifespan of these tires. Second, let the thing sit for a week unplugged and then check to make sure everything works. Many of us have had the experience of all being well when we bought it only to find problems on our first trip.

Sorry you got taken by the sales guy. One way around the speedo is to put a GPS on the dash and use it for speed. They are very accurate. Depending on the layout of your dash you could make it look like it was always there.

Thanks for the welcome, I look forward to picking everyone's brains for tid bits along the way. leave it sit for a week wish I could do that (should do that) and get back in the garage working on the 55 poncho, but the wife comes out in the garage and says lets go for a ride, and that's all it takes and where off again to parts unknown. Will be different now with the motor home.
