Newbie here...
My wife and I will be moving into a motor home soon, as soon as I can the this 100 (actually 98) year old farm house a little more presentable to prospective buyers. What we are looking for is a motor coach of around 35 feet that has a king bed, a washer and dryer machine (combo OK) (wife's requirements) and will pull 6,500 lbs. (my requirement) Any help will be appreciated. I'm kind of leaning toward a super C but nothing firm in that area. Oh yea the kicker, I'd like to stay under $125,000. Yes, yes I know it won't be new, not sure I want new anyway.

Welcome to the forum. You might want to expand your search to include small Class A's along with Super C's. A lot of Class C motor homes have a limited cargo (payload) capacity and towing capacity, although the Super C's tend to have greater capacities.
Are you looking for a diesel or gas powered MH?
Apparently, you have a heavy vehicle you'd like to tow (often called a toad). Can your toad be towed 4 down or do you need to use a dolly or vehicle trailer?

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the upcoming life style change.
You are joining a good group of folks here with good info to share. Get to as many dealers and shows as you can and check out various floor plans (most important), amenities, and quality of build of the different rigs. This will help you narrow down your search (new or used). IBTripping has some good points on your toad. NO matter what you do (4 down, dolly, trailer) you are going to spend 2K-6K on the set up
Enjoy the adventure!

A little history on my shopping. I originally thought I was going to sell my current F150 and buy a jeep and a trailer to haul it and my motorcycle in. After doing some math I'd only pick up about 1,000 in towing capacity in the trailer but lose that much in the coach due to tongue weight. So i decided to flat tow my current truck (it's paid for) and put my bike in the bed. I will flat tow it and it looks like the tow bar, brake system and driveline disconnect will be about $3,000. Right now I'm leaning toward a 2012 or 2013 Jayco Seneca as they have the Cummins 6.7 diesel and the tow capacity. In 2014 they reduced the tow capacity to 5,000 as they increased the coach weight to 28,000 lbs. A great move backwards for my purposes. I've looked at some small class As and the one I really liked, a Holiday Rambler Trip, has the Navistar MaxxForce 7 diesel which every diesel mechanic I know, and i know a few has said is junk. What I don't know is if someone has figured out how to fix the EGR so they don't break. But I have seen the small cargo capacity on many. many coaches. I was looking at a Holiday Rambler Vacationer at a show the other week and it only had 1,300 lbs of CCC, about half of what I want. And that my friends is why I'm asking for suggestions. Thanks for all of the help so far.
