Smile Newbie in Middle TN

Hi Everyone, Made the plunge and got a class A Bounder 28T 1999 model. Went from Tents to Pop-ups to boats with Cuddy cabins and the wife convinced me a self enclosed mobile house was the way to go. Excited to be back to camping and traveling again . Even if on the weekends (about a year from retirement) . First trip in about 2 weeks down to Amory MS for a family reunion. I have watched so many youtube videos about stupid RV mistakes I begin to wonder if everybody does it lol. Looking forward to meeting lots of folks and seeing this great country while we still have one

Hi Riverfarm, I just rejoined, as had to give up RVing in 2013 and should be back in full swing next week Where in middle TN? Reason is my wife and I lived in Crossville for a few years before we went full time. We had to hang up the keys in 2013 when her Alztheimers closed in on her. Our only regret was that we had not gone FT sooner as I had retired in 2000. To me the only way to really see this great country is through the windshield of an RV. The 1st thing you need to buy is a set of binoculars and keep them very handy-----that dear is only going to be there for a second. I will be making a light wooden plaque to hang over the window in the door whenever we are parked. It will say THREE of OUR CLOSEST5 FRIENDS LIVE IN HERE WITH US. THEY ARE SMITH, WESSON AND SAMMY. Then there will be a picture of a snake curled and ready to strike and underneath it will say SAMMY.
Whatever your pleasure be careful out there! Ken.....

Welcome to the Group!! This group works because of it’s vast knowledge.

We are Smarter than I

My last rig was a '99 Bounder. Made it from Arizona to Newfoundland and Alaska. It was a good rig.
