Newbie Intro & Questions

Hello! Thought it was time to jump in to ask a few questions after watching and learning for a few months. We’ve owned a class C, TT and a very poor choice of a class A which we put out of our misery last year. We are ready to transition to full time in 3-4 months.

After researching, (my husband would call it obsessing) we have identified what we believe is a good model for us - Tiffin Allegro 36LA, 2012-2014 age range.

Questions:
-Although I’ve found very few complaints about Tiffin, are there any gas Tiffin owners with any concerns?
-Besides RVTrader.com and RVT.com, where else should we be looking?
-Other forums you would recommend we join?

Thanks all!

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Never owned a Tiffen so can't comment there. I would try Googling that model and see what pops up!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Hi, and welcome from a fellow newbie.

We actually have good friends who own a newer gas Allegro, 40 ft., and they opened her up for us to tour a few weeks ago. We asked a million questions and they both just love it. They only have had the usual minor issues, but nothing major. And they spoke very highly of the headquarters in Red Bay, they were able to get there and get some warranty work done. I believe they had the front seats re-upholstered and the step into the coach replaced. No major system issues at all.

We went with a diesel pusher since my hubbs wanted to have a bit more power over hills and mountains, but we just really love their coach.

Good luck!

Glad to have you here in the forum with us. You're gonna like it here.

There is a forum for Tiffin under the RV Owners forum. You'll get more answers there.

Happy Trails!!!
