newbie looking for some answers

Hi, looking at a 2005 Trail Cruiser in great shape except for seam between roof and fiberglass skin at rear...not leaking but looks like it could soon. Steer clear or is this easily fixable? Am I making a mistake buying a Trail Cruiser (by Trail Lite)?

Hi htp and welcome. If there have been no leaks that should be a fixable item. Suggest you get professional advice before you buy.

We bought one that has had some delam but was handled by the local dealer. They removed the roof, replaced, resealed and warranted the work. The price reflected the damage but we have had no problems and expect to own until too late to worry. There will be downstream sales problems so consider that in your decision. Find a dealer nearby you can trust and get their opinion.

from NH. Post a picture of your problem in the appropriate forum and you will get better results.

Welcome to IRV2! It's great to have you join the gang here!

I would think that problem would be easily fixed IF it hasn't been leaking, but I would seek the advice of a qualified RV tech before buying.

BTW, you will get much better results if you post questions over in the specific area of the forum. Not many folks hang out here in the Welcome area. Enjoy the forum!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
