Newbie Mike

Hi
My name is Mike and I am new to RV'ing. 54 years of age, Married with two grandkids. Yep jumped right in and bought an 04 Gas 36 Ft Holiday Rambler Vacationer, and now I just got to pay for it :-) 1st drive was somewhat intimidating but getting used to it. Taking the grandkids camping for our first trip this week-end.
Happy to be here enjoy reading all the interesting tips and pointers from the rest of the group.
Happy trails
Mike

Mike:

Welcome to the Forum to you and the family. We basically did the same thing but we sold the house, bought a used MH and are now fulltiming. We hope you have many great camping adventures with the grandkids. Best of luck.

Happy RV'ing

Welcome and glad to meet you!

You're not the only one who jumped right in. We started about a year and a half ago with our present coach.

I am just wondering why my my slides don't close with the generator runnin?. It starts then slows and stops prior to closing.
Also, my tv does not work unless rv is plugged in but cabin lights work? Looking for any assistance with these issues.

Mike,

Welcome to the forum. At the top of the page is an "Owner's Forum". You will find your rig in there and people who can answer your questions and probably tell you anything you want to know about it. Many have had these or similar problems and can give you exact info on a fix. Good luck and enjoy!
