Newbie on the West Coast
Hey all,
So, a new family here in the SF Bay area.
The wife and I just bought our first ever RV. Its a 2006 Mallard trailer that we found on CraigsList. Its in really good condition, and the previous owner already installed solar and a inverter. We are super excited and cant wait for our first trip!! We are a younger couple with a 6 month old little boy that are excited to upgrade from many years of tent camping.
I personally grew up camping in a Winnebago Minnie Winnie. So many memories in that thing, and I think its only natural that I now own an RV. We will be towing with out 2011 Ram 1500 with Hemi. It tows it great so far!!

Fill out the control panel info so we have some idea were on the west coast.
My parents rented a TT in 1957 and bought their first one in 1958 so I was brought up around RV's

You've picked a great place to join.
Enjoy your new toy and it is good to know that your son will be brought up to enjoy the great out of doors.

Welcome to the forum SFGiants fan. We live down in Padres land ... But don't hold that against us. DW and I fell in love with the Bay Area while our daughter attended and graduated from Mills College. Our son graduated from CSU Monterey Bay as well. We spent quite a bit of time in NoCal as you can imagine.
Congratulations on paying it forward in introducing your son to RV'ing. Just as you have many great memories of camping while growing up...so will he. We camped with our kids when they were young. One turns 40 this year, the other 38. When we gather at the holidays...we relive those great memories.
Travel safely!
