Newbie once again

This is our 4th RV. Had a 34' Fleetwood back in '85, then a couple of 5th wheels for the next 20 years. Started spending our winters in Tucson 5 years ago. Sold the 5th wheel and bought a park model. Liked it so much here in the winter that we sold our house in TN last fall and moved here full time. Got the itch again and pulled the trigger on a 2016 Thor Hurricane 27K a couple of weeks ago. Shakedown cruise from TX to AZ via back roads and mountains shook out a couple of problems. Get the rig back from local dealer in the morning. Having a front end alignment done Tuesday. Will have CHF done also if they are willing.

In performing some research to get back into the life, I stumbled onto iRV2. Wish I had known about this site back when. Great info and so far seems to be some pretty knowledgeable and friendly people on here. I'm impressed and happy to be here.

A little background: I was a nuclear trained Navy machinist mate for 20 years. Then spent 23 years with GE nuclear. When I found time I fished, camped, then rv'd. The second time around, I met the love of my life and she has kept me honest (mostly), and shared the best times of my life. She is a retired RN, worked mostly in the VA system.

Heading out next week for the Grand Canyon, Utah red rocks and canyons, stop by my sister in CO, then on to TN and SC to visit family.

A little long winded, but I like this site and look forward to exchanging information and eventually meeting some of the members.

Jake
