Newbie RVr from CO

Hi all you peoples!

My name is Trish and I'm in PDI with a 'new to me' RV after looking for years!

Its a 2001 Triple E Empress 38' Diesel. Its in a good price range for my first time and so far appears to be in excellent health. If all goes well, and I decide to sell my house, I'll upgrade to a newer unit with 2 full wall slides (my dream rig).

I'm a solo traveling with a few dogs (okay 8 actually, but 6 are really small Poms so they don't count as much right?) Why? Well I've competed for over 20 years in dog Agility events.

Okay that being said, I'm excited to spend this winter training dogs to be comfortable in the rig, get them into a camping/traveling routine before headed out somewhere's in 2014.

Its fun to read all the great posts on this forum and I'm sure I'll have lots of questions! Hope to meet some of you all someday!

Trish (and the pack)

Welcome to Irv. I noticed this is your second post, hopefully you'll kind a kindred spirit with k. The first among many.

Triple e builds a good unit, my dad almost bought one, similar to yours. There are threads here on how people have modified coaches using the 2nd sofa space for crates for show and agility dogs, maybe those can give you some ideas.

Enjoy the adventure, and yes they count towards your 34 leg unit. My younger and cheekier 10 lb cat would be quivering, running away tail puffed from 1 of your poms my 7 lb cat she would give them a bunny, bird or mouse as a present.
