Newbie saying hello

Just purchased a 22 ft a Micro Minnie to pull cross country for a summer adventure. I can't wait to see more of our beautiful country. I'm new at this, I mean really new!

I'd love ideas & suggestions from those who have traveled from East to West with a TT. Routes, best time of year to begin etc. I will be leaving Maryland & would love to see the sequoia in California. One stop that's a must is to visit with our grand kids in Colorado. I'm guessing 3 to 4 weeks should be enough time to see some of the national parks en route.

Suggestions are welcomed.

Welcome and congrats on the new rig.

My feeling is you are trying to do too much for a first time trip, especially if you plan on spending some time with the family in Colorado. You can spend a month just exploring Colorado alone.

You are joining a good group of folks here with good info to share.

Enjoy the adventure.

Not enough time to do what you want. Double the time or halve the itinerary.

You are looking at about 4-5 days each way for travel alone. This will only give you a short time in each place. Remember you will have travel time between points of interest. One suggestion after you spend time with the family is to do the big 5 Nat'l parks in Utah, Grand Teton NP and Yellowstone.
