Newbie to the iRV2 Forum

We look forward to learning and helping in the RV 'community'. We just took delivery on a new Cruiser RV Fun Finder X-214WSD, but were previous Back Packers, Tenters, and owners of a Jayco Popup (12yr) and most recently a Trailmanor (3yr). We hoped to have a step up with the Fun Finder, but my spouse is really down about the fact that after my 'rain test' with the oscillating sprinkler on the roof, we find our brand new beautiful trailer has a slide out leak and a really poorly installed rain gutter! Good old Modern American Craftsmanship! We just picked it up Thurs. and have a scheduled trip in 2 weeks and she is already positive all her plans and reservations are down the proverbial pit!

I remain hopefully optimistic while being very p___ed off that I have to deal with this already! We'll find out what they tell us tomorrow after the holiday weekend. I may need advice ...

...and to the 'wonderfull' world of RV (lack of) quality control. Mine's been back to the factory twice, with a third trip scheduled at the end of October.

THX so much for the welcome! I'm sure we'll get the issues resolved and enjoy our new 'shell'. In the scheme of things, so far it is relatively small stuff and not worth getting our blood pressure up over!
