Newbie x 2

We are new to the RV world and can't wait to get started. Purchased our first MH a 2008 Newmar Kountry Star 3910 and are just waiting for the bride to retire in August so we can hit the road.

After a couple of short weekend excursions we have learned a very good lesson...searching this forum can help the learning curve and it saves both time and $$$...

Thank you in advance for all your help...

Hi Hands,

Welcome to the Forum! Sounds like you got a sweet rig to travel in and it should definitely increase your fun factor. Please go to new rig show off and post a pic if you haven't already.

Just in case, did you get a water pressure gauge? CGs tend to have high water pressures and you wouldn't want to damage your plumbing. Also a water filter for in your white line would help keep the stuff out in their long water lines. Just a suggestion, but we found out the hard way we needed them.

Good luck and go have some fun. Many retiring here and running this route.

Thanks for the advice. I purchased two water pressure reducers one is installed permanently in the coach and the other goes ahead of the white hose for protection of the hose. I also have the same setup with water filters...
The RV Geeks YouTube site has also been a great source for newbies...
Thanks again, Hands

Welcome to our world! We have been fulltime for 10 years and it's a great life. We hope to stay on the road as long as we can. Enjoy yourself and don't try to see the whole US in the first year. Follow the 2-2-2 rule, travel 200 miles, stop by 2 pm, and stay for 2 days. We enjoy traveling the lesser highways, they are slower but you see more of this great country. We have found some really cute city and county parks.
