We just joined IRV2 to do more research on full timing and 5th wheels. We are still working but counting down to retirement. The day after we retire, we plan to have sold it all and hit the road fulltime.

We spend the majority of our vacations in our mini-camper off somewhere hiking and having fun adventures.

We self modified a 2012 Nissan NV2500 hightop. We love our little (20 ft) camper. We have a microwave, hanging bed and generator. We spent 3 days in Quartzsite boondocking and our rig worked great. But we are anxious to move up to a 5th wheeler.

Looking forward to learning lots here.

Good luck and enjoy that retirement mine could be three decades away or 3 years NV2500 so you have the V8 and dual airbags. Seems to me here it's the GM dealer turned Nissan that sells all the NV's the Nissan dealer doesn't seem to care. So are you going to get a smaller 5er and get a Titan or maybe just go all the way and get a Class A Peterbilt with a DD13 or ISX or maybe a Cat under the hood and a cat or two in the cab. So many choices. Good luck.
