Newbies all around

My husband and I are moving from sailing to RVing due to an injury and are looking at a 2002 Pace Arrow w 48k miles. Drives great, the AC is being repaired as we speak, our only concern is she was a bit slow to start, and had an idle surge, idling in park between 550 to 650 rpms. Anyone know what might be causing this, is it $ or $$$$ repairs? I didn’t notice a surge while driving.

Also, does the forum send out daily emails like our sailing forum did, w daily Q and A...?

Glad to have you here in the forum with us. You're gonna like it here.

Do you have maintenance records for the the MH? Has it had any engine work done on it such as tune ups? There is also the possibility that you may have bad fuel or filters

Happy Trails!!!

from WA State.

Lots of things can cause an idle surge.

Thank for the welcome, as far as I know no maintenance records, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t in the large binder onboard, will look. We are also thinking old gas, so will try additives. Very excited to get started, will let y’all know what we buy😄
