Newbies from California

Hi all!

I guess we should have done this a while back, but better late than never. We are 2 seniors who plan to become full timers next year.

Jeff has just closed his Fur Pets Only business and is still in the process of packaging up parts and pieces, and then will get busy on E-Bay selling all the left-over stuff.

Nancy is a pediatrician still working part-time, but that is going to change at the end of January.

We have plenty of camping experience between us, but NO RV experience, so we are doing lots of research and will probably be asking lots of questions. Hope to buy a coach in early spring, take some short trips to make sure we have everything figured out, and then hopefully hit the road full-time in July.

Jeff & Nan

Welcome to the irv2 gang, Jeff & Nan! Glad you decided to join up. You picked a great bunch of folks to help you; DW and I found most of our information here as we search for a motorhome (and associated things like tow bars). Good luck!

P.S. Dr. Nan(cy), don't worry....we won't be asking for house calls....even though some of us are entering our second childhood.

Full-Timing is a big change, so I think small steps could improve chances of success.
That means short trips of increasing duration.

Best luck and safe travels
