Glad to have you join iRV2. Bet you wish the weather was warmer so you could put your new toy to good use...better yet, head south.

Have you already checked out the posts on winterizing? I thought I was covered but missed several things. I am full timing now, and still found winter living tips that were great.

Hey P&K812,
We are also from NY just outside Syracuse and almost in the same boat. We have just under two years to go b4 retirement. 18 degrees with 22 MPH winds here this morning. If your new rig is anywhere near us I hope at least the water system has been winterized

I have only been a member here for about 6 months, but I have gained so much from the terrific people on this site. They are friendly, willing to offer assistance and the vast amount of experience and knowledge is awesome. Congrats on joining up. My wife and I started fulltiming in July and we are currently at the Great Outdoors in Florida for a couple of months. We were from Colorado and I understand the snow and temperatures colder than the Tiger Woods bedroom.

HI P&K812,
My wife and I both grew up in Rome and we still have some nieces who live there, so we visit Rome once in awhile in the RV. I know the Westmoreland area well - my stepdad ran the American Legion in Clinton way back when and I dated girls in Clarks Mills and Clinton before I met my wife.
