Newbie's from Rhode Island - First RV

Well, I technically haven't gotten it yet. I have made an agreement with the owner. I have seen it and driven it. I now have to get back to New Jersey to pick it up next weekend. Its going to be a long week. Its a 2003 National Sea Breeze. Very clean, very nice. I have already made a couple of posts to this forum and everyone is very helpful, responsive and Nice. I look forward to using my new RV and this forum to learn what I don't know, which at this point is considerable.

Congratulations!!! Looks like a nice coach.

Be sure to get the following for it.
1. Water Pressure regulator
2. Electrical surge guard (Camping World has them on sale now)
3. Check the manufacturing date on the tires. It is recommended to replace them after 7 years.

Good luck and happy trails.

Hi Kliwks:

Congratulations! We are new owners of a used rig as well.

Barb and I spend a lot of time at Bonnet. Maybe you can stop by at some point for adult beverages.

Will do Ralph. We do get to Bonnet a couple of times in the summer. My brother in law has a summer house there. Would love to stop by for a beverage. Is this your first RV venture. It is for us, and I can't wait. Good luck with your rig. Its a little scary buying a used RV from a private owner. You have to take a little leap of faith and trust who you are buying from.

Welcome to IRV2. Congrates on the new coach.

The next most important call you can make is to make your reservations to the 2012 Northeasters Wicked Good Mardis Gras Rally. Don't mis it! The registration deadline is May 28th.

I'm there most of the Summer.

This is my first RV however I have driven my Dad's old Winnebago down to FL for him many times.

You bet it's a leap of faith buying used from an owner. Believe me I have reservations but I'm all in. I'm sure I can get through most issues especially with the insight of the technical folks on this terrific site.

Picking it up Wednesday.
