Newbies in the Pacific Northwest

Hello to all you RVers from the Hood Canal area of the Evergreen State. With my wife's recent retirement we now have the time to start camping and traveling about this grand country.

We've spent sometime looking at trailers, mostly in the 22-26' range of the lighter weight variety. Somewhat bewildered by the range of options and prices, but we'll figure it out eventually! LOL

First order of business will be to find a replacement for our '98 F-150 which has 198,000 miles now. It's been a great truck, but WAY too tired to pull a trailer safely. Most likely will get another Ford, or perhaps a GM product, half ton only as we don't have any intent of traveling far or doing the full time thing.

Enough for now I suppose, see ya on the road!

Love the PNW pretty country.
Have fun with your quest in finding the right TT or 5er.

It's not how much or how far you tow that dictates the towing vehicle needed. It's the weight and size of the towable that will do that.

Thanks Mr D, I do get the correlation between TT And the TV. Some experience with trucks, weight, and towing...former tanker driver for ARCO and fire truck operator. That's why we're looking for a lighter weight trailer.

And to the other responses, thanks for the welcome!

Cheers, BJ
