Since self employment and unemployment are not to different in the Michigan climate we decided to take up rving and seeing these 50 states. We just bought an 05 40' Monaco Diplomat and hit the road after the holidays. We are planning to get as far south as possible and start touring the southern states. We found this site while researching rvs and it has already helped many times in solving problems that newbies encounter. Looking forward to being a part of your great group.

Don, if you come south, leave the cold weather up north. Get to the Houston area. We are always up to some Mexican food and Margaritas.

Hey Dan and welcome to the forum from sunny Goodyear, Arizona.

You'll love it. Take your time. Don't be afraid to stay a week or month in one place to take in all the area has to offer.... and save money too.

Be safe and keep us posted.

Rick

Welcome Dan,
Before or after you eat Ken's Mexican food up and drink all his Margaritas, stop by Pensacola and we'll enjoy some fresh gulf red snapper, grouper, red fish, mahi mahi, and mullet with some fried, broiled and boiled shrimp, delicious Appalachicola oysters - raw, baked or 100 other ways, along with some fine Kentucky bourbon. Of course we'll have to have fresh cold slaw, cheese grits or maybe even some grits a ya ya to go with that. Anyway, you won't go hungary or thirsty.
