I just this morning became a member of this forum and will probably have a few questions as things go along. I recently lost my wife of almost 54 years and am having somewhat of a rough time of it. I recently purchased a 1993 Beaver Contessa and plan to do some traveling. I am retired from the Air Force (1955-1975) with the best tour of my career being the tour in Vietnam flying on the EC-47 Mission from its beginning in 1966 and leaving in August of 1967. I have 4 children, 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and all living within just a few miles of me, good or bad. I have been fully retired now for about 15 years. Hope to meet up with a number of you folks along the roads of this fine nation.
Take Care,
J.C. Wheeler
