Welcome, you have found the best RV web site going. We are not too far from you, Suffolk, VA here. Feel free to post questions, and also reviews on some of the campgrounds in your neck of the woods. We are always looking for new places, especially near the outer banks that might be a little more reasonably priced with more availability than they have right on the OBX.

I retired from the City of Suffolk, look forward to seeing you on the RV circuit. We like New Bern KOA, they're friendly, clean and located on the Neuse River. Great pool and fishing and have kayak rentals. It's not the OBX but New Bern is a very nice little town. The KOA's rates are reasonable, not like coastal rates.

We're both retired, and moved here from Virginia. Your right it's a beautiful little town with plenty of small town charm. We live right on the Albermarle Sound, and sometimes wonder why we travel because it's so beautiful here. However we do love camping and until just recently had travel trailers and Toy haulers. The 34' Winnebago Adventure is going to be a new experience for us, but one we're sure we'll enjoy.
