Hello to all.

I have recently retired and my wife and I, after much thought have decided to purchase a new class A motorhome. We have NO experience except going out with friends a few times. We would like to buy by the end of the year. We have decided on a New Class A between 36/38 feet.

After looking at many motorhomes we think we have narrowed it down to the Tiffin Phaeton or the Thor Venetian.

Any help in what is important when deciding which one would be greatly appreciated.

If anyone has another brand to look at let us know that to.

Thanks in advance

Glad to have you here in the forum with us.

If you are looking at buying a diesel, then look at Newmar. If you drive a MH with Comfort Drive you'll understand. Plus the quality is first class.

Good luck with your search

Happy Trails!!!

As a side note. I don't know where you live but there are some great RV shows that are worth attending. You can get to see a lot of RVs side be side and make comparisons. If you are in the east, the show at Hershey in Sept is a good one. It will be before your anticipated buy date.

You may want to give some thought to buying used also, as there are many clean used DP's available. Good luck shopping.
