HI, My name is Bobby and my wife's name is Moe, We had a travel trailer about 13 years ago, but my wife hated sitting in the passenger seat while we towed, she hated the feeling of something attached to our conversion van so I sold it. A year later I had the idea of a motorhome, and she was willing to go along with that ( I have been a diesel mechanic on coach/tour buses for over thirty years) we agreed and 10 years ago bought a 1989 Rockwood Forest river 36' John Deere chassis ford 460 carbureted 3speed automatic Motorhome. We used it quite a bit until gas went above 4 bucks a gallon , We then got a permanent site for it at Blue Rocks campground for 4 years...Now I am trying to get it roadworthy again as he ( Bruce is our MH's name) has some issues because of age and sitting.
