I've found this website to be very informative and helpful. DW and I really started RVing in earnest in April of 2011. We impulsively bought a 2011 Class C Sunseeker. Took it on several local trips and one extended trip to Rapid City SD. Immediately upon return I told DW, IT'S TOO SMALL. I returned to RV Dealer with tail between my legs and traded the Class C for a 34' foot Cedar Creek 30RL. Which meant that DW had to trade in her car for a TV. Thankfully RV Dealer had a nice arrangement with local Chevy dealer and we were able to receive discount on new truck.

Long story short, we've had the 5ver for almost a year and love it. So much more room and although I'd never towed anything bigger than a john boat and trailer with a 1/2 ton truck, I surprised myself in adapting to towing a 5ver. DW also drives and backs the 5ver (however she's much better at giving me backing guidance than I am for her!).

Looking forward to eventually full-timing.

Hi Larry! Welcome to IRV2! Sure good to have you with us! Congrats on the new Cedar Creek! We've had a Cedar Creek 36RLTS for the last ten years before buying the MH about two months ago. We still have the 5er, waiting to see if we really like the MH. Good luck & God bless!
