Thanks everyone, what a friendly forum.

We saw a cool 1993 pace arrow diesel pusher for sale locally. Mint condition, 60k miles, but we were too late. That was the first rv in our busget ive seen that excited me in a while. Oh well, more will come along.

We are still toying with the idea of a bus build. I need to tour more busses that have been converted. Building a bus will add 6-12 months to getting on the road. That would give us time to sort out our jobs and insurance and things like that, so it has its plusses. We'll see what happens.

Fender needs a seat belt.

You need to get a bit of basic electrical. Amperage is wattage of the voltage is constant. Watts = volts x amps.

You will find it will take a lot of batteries to replace a bottle of propane.

Surprised that the hot water was an issue. We get more than 2 cups in 5 minutes. The 6 gallon tanks run hot so when mixed with cold are more than adequate for a good shower.

Glad to have you here with us.

There are many web sites for searching out the RV of your dreams. Take you time and make sure you know what you have to have and what you don't. There are a lot of nice DPs in your price range out there. You just may have to travel to get it.

Best of luck with your search and Happy Trails!!!!
