North Carolina newcomer - Hello to all

Hello everybody, I joined today for fun and info about and among RVers. My wife and I bought a 2005 Prowler Regal AX6 38' last year and or having a very good time vacationing in our own place. The rv has the front living room which is a little aggravating cause the steps are so steep and the 2 couches up there are not the most comfortable, but I don't stay inside much anyway. We have used her 5 times so far and loved every minute of it. We pull with a 2005 Ford F-250 powerstroke/auto with the beefed up suspension and it does a great job in mountains or flat land. We have 3 grown kids and 3 miniature dachsunds - Hoagie is the old man as he is 11 years and solid black, Roxie is a little red lady, and Mattie is a little dapple which we rescued from some idiots who tried to starve her to death because she was to small to breed in their puppy mill and they could not bring themselves to shoot her so they decided with their small minds to put her in a back lot and let her die but she wouldn't and now she is the happiest little doggie you ever saw.

Hi and welcome to the forum! I don't know what I'd like to do most... buy Mattie a nice meal... buy you a beverage of your choice for rescuing her... or make a meal of the idiots who tried to starve her! Bless you guys.

Being dog people, if you're ever looking for a different kind of get away there in NC, you might try Four Paws Kingdom in Rutherfordton. Great place designed for dogs... no children allowed. 7 dog parks, etc, etc..

Glad you're here!

Welcome from the eastern part of the state. Mattie is a lucky furry child to have such wonderful parents.

Enjoy

So glad you found my favorite RV forum. Don't be shy about participating.

We pass near you whenever we head south to our place in South Carolina. You live in some great country for exploring in an RV.

Happy trails...
