Northwest Indiana Check In

My brother and I picked up our RV last fall-> first one for either of us. Figured we would ease into this and see how much we actually use it. Hopefully, the 2017 Georgetown 351 is just a starting platform.

Figured that if we split it between us, it made a lot more sense than each of us getting one. Plus my side {myself and my 2 boys} are mechanically inclined and enjoy that kind of stuff. Brother's girls are very much into keeping things clean and neat....so far it has worked well.

Picked up a lot on this forum and the ideas kept us busy over the winter. Ended up installing new shocks, sway bars, EMS, Sumo Springs, TPMS, GPS, Dashcam, and a host of other things. Would like to be able to say that we have done everything, but I know that is not true....we will always be doing something.

Trips planned so far are Colorado {Brother's trip} and West Virginia {our annual trip to the Hatfield McCoy Trails to run our atv's}. Going to be interesting to run this along with a trailer thru the mountains of WV... will miss my f250 Diesel when the mountains start.

Hope sharing a rig works for you, it doesn't for a lot of people.

Welcome Bowser, thanks for signing up and sharing a bit of your story. I'm sure you and your brother will do fine sharing the rig and soon enough you'll convince yourselves a diesel pusher is next! We are down on NW side of Indy.
