'nother newbie

Husband and wife for 46 years
65 years old
Retired after 32 years in manufacturing
Engineering and product improvement background (sounds perfect for an RV owner!!!)

First time to the RV arena. Started investigating class C, then at small class A motorhomes. Originally was interested in Thor Axis/Vegas & Hurricane, but now considering Newmar Bay Star Sport. Floor plan 2705 in particular.

So far, while lurking, I have found this forum pleasant, informative and courteous. I appreciate the rules stating rudeness will not be tolerated. Thank you.

Let the saga begin...

As you said, don't overlook a Class A, as it will have more storage capacity and more carrying capacity. Good luck shopping, and don't be afraid to ask questions as you go.

Welcome! Storage is overrated-unless you don't have enough.

Get the one you like-it will be obvious when you see it.

Get it Quick!! Time is A-Wasting.

Welcome Aboard!

We started witb lots of extra space in cabinets and down in the basement compartments. But over the years, we have managed to pretty much fill up all of the [extra] spaces. Glad we went a little large, now that we look back on it.
