Greetings-
Checking in with a new account.
Middle aged white guy, wife, 2.3 kids, dogs, etc.
Looking to get started in RV'ing and spend some time while the children are younger in exploring some areas around the country.
I'll start another thread on a few different RV's I'm looking at and looking for opinions and suggestions, price points, etc.
I've lurked in the forum for a few weeks now while hunting craigs list, dealers, ebay, and looking at different RV's locally as part of the education process.
Doing a lot of reading, education, finding what I like, don't like, etc.
And understanding most importantly that why a good friend of mine told me (while standing in his Southwind) "look, there are two types of RV's. Those that leak, and those that will." I've looked at 20 used RV's in the past couple weeks. *EVERY* one of them leaked.
None of the new stuff I looked at leaked. (yet).
Thanks for having me. Looking forward to gaining more eduction, tips, and info.

Hello and Welcome. Good luck on your search. We just bought a 2004 HR Class A and there is not one leak and no water marks. We tent camped when the kids were little and they loved it. Great way to spend time with the family.

So that is why the seal at the bottom of the door is on the outside..... to let the water back out!  Welcome and happy RV hunting!
